Assignments and Recitations (%25). Throughout the term, you will be shown three films related to the substance of the ideologies we will be covering. Following each showing, you will be required to write annotations that respond to the questions on the the fılm’s main themes and its line of story. You will then be attending recitation hours (conducted by our research assistants) where you will be analysing the linkages between the main themes of the film and the substance of the idelogies we covered. It is absolutely essential that you complete and submit your annotations before the recitation hours, as annotations submitted later will not be taken into evaluation. Your active participation in the recitation hours will count towards % 10 percent of your total mark from this course, while your annnotations will constitute the remaining %15.

The Objective

The objective of this course is to acquaint the students of political science and public administration with the fundamental concepts, definitions, approaches and problems of administration in general and public administration in particular. Such knowledge is essential for further and advanced studies and courses in the forthcoming years of their career.
